Open and switch projects

A project identifies the folder you are working in. Click Open project in the sidebar to add a folder, then select its entry to return to it. Check the directory displayed by the composer before asking for file changes or commands.

A project can contain several sessions. Use a separate session for a new feature, investigation, or review so that unrelated goals do not compete for attention.

Start and resume a conversation

1. Choose your project in the sidebar.
2. Click New session beside that project.
3. Describe the goal and attach the relevant context.
4. Return to the project’s session list or Search sessions when you want to resume earlier work.

Closing a tab and deleting project files are different actions. Do not assume that clearing a conversation restores files that were edited during it; use review and undo for changes.

Keep a session focused

When changing direction, explicitly say whether the new request replaces the previous goal or adds another requirement. For long investigations, ask for a summary of decisions, remaining questions, and the next step before moving on.

Summarize what we decided, what has changed, and what still needs testing.
Include the relevant filenames so I can continue this later.

If context looks wrong

Stop before approving edits. Check the active project, open session, selected model, and attached files. If the agent is relying on an old assumption, correct it directly and ask it to reread the current files.
