Installation
Get the supported desktop release and check availability for your platform.

Before you install
The current macOS preview supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Use Apple menu → About This Mac to check your chip and macOS version. Keep a backup or a clean Git commit of projects you plan to edit.

Install on macOS
- Open the Virillio Code download page.
- Choose the Apple silicon DMG installer.
- Open the downloaded disk image and place Virillio Code in Applications.
- Launch Virillio Code from Applications. Follow any account authorization shown by the app.
- Connect a provider and open your first project.
The download page also offers a ZIP archive and links to release notes and checksums. Use that page for the current version rather than a saved download link.
Updates and release notes
Check your installed version in the application’s About menu. Visit the official release notes to see changes and known limitations before updating. The current 0.1.2 release includes no supported mobile app; leave Mobile connection disabled.
If installation fails
Check that the installer matches your Mac’s chip and that the download finished. If macOS displays a security or signature warning, stop and confirm you obtained the official release; do not disable system protections to continue. Send the version and exact error message to support.
